Lula Lieder – Class of 1944
With sadness it was noted that Lula Lieder (Class of 1944) passed away on July 8, 2015. Lula was a tireless organizer and facilitator of the early Rockford All-School Reunions. She spent endless hours and much energy notifying Rockford alumni and organizing the annual luncheon at locations in Rockford as well as those held at the Medina Ballroom. Stan Wandersee and I took over the reunion when Lula decided she was ready to pass it on. She was a big help in the transition, encouraging us to continue the event as we do each year the first weekend of October.
Lula was a special person and our thoughts and prayers are with the Lieder and Hohl families. Attached is a link to Lula’s obituary.
