Background/Education
I was born in Long Beach, CA. We moved to Minneapolis where I went to school until 4th grade and then we moved to Hopkins, MN. I graduated from Eisenhower High School in Hopkins, MN.
Career
I started working in the banking industry where we used CRT machines, Wyse terminals and Mainframes. Once Windows 3.1 was released we moved away from Wyse terminals. I have been working with some sort of computer for my whole career. I have been at Rockford for 6 years.
I attended Hennepin Technical College.
Family
I married my high school boyfriend, Dane and we will be celebrating our 43 wedding anniversary this summer. We have 3 children – 1 son and a set of boy/girl twins. We have been blessed with 8 grandchildren which include a set of boy/girl twins. We are very fortunate that everyone lives within 20 miles from us.
Retirement Plans
We are taking a trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota where all of our children and grandchildren will join us. Then Dane and I will move our 5th wheel to a lot on Kabetogama Lake for the summer. Before the snow flies or it gets too cold we will be heading south to warmer weather with our 5th wheel. Our plan is to travel the US and only be home in Minnesota when there is no snow. Looking forward to spending time with our grandchildren, quilting, reading and living without a schedule.
