The Rockford Education Foundation (REF) is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching education for every student in the Rockford Area Schools. Operating separately from Rockford Public Schools, REF is led by a passionate volunteer board of directors and supported by one part-time staff member.
REF is dedicated to providing valuable educational experiences and fund innovative projects that inspire learning and growth. Acting as a bridge between the school district and generous donors, REF ensures that every contribution directly supports the students, staff, and programs in our community.
