Chrome Books used daily

The Foundation continues to support student learning in the classroom. In the last year, community support through the Foundation has funded:

• 35 Chrome Books
• 8 ActivBoards
• iPads
• Science Calculators

Rockford students utilize chrome books every day in multiple classes.  Chrome books provide students with opportunities to access information and develop research skills, communicate their ideas, and build strong digital citizenship skills.  RMS-CES Principal, Amy Denneson says, “Chrome books are an amazing instructional tool!  They engage students in learning and develop skills that will help them thrive in today’s global community!”

Grandparents support for education

Grandparents can donate to books or technology through Grandparents Club

Each year, Grandparents will have the opportunity to make a financial gift to support projects benefitting your grandchild(ren)’s school.  You can choose to direct your gift to Books or Technology. Gifts donated through Grandparents Club are tax deductible.

Whether you live close by or across the country, you can be an active participant in your grandchild(ren)’s education.

If you are planning to visit with Grandparents over Spring Break, be sure to let them know about the new opportunity to support Rockford Education.
